Cycling Event Raises Funds for Prostate Cancer Screenings

Save the date for "Pedal Away Prostate Cancer," a 25-mile bike race to be held on September 14, 2013. The annual event is sponsored by Bayhealth and the Delaware Prostate Cancer Coalition, and raises funds that support Bayhealth's free community prostate screening program and educational outreach.

Starting at the Eden Hill Medical Center in Dover, the event is open to cyclists of all abilities, with top finishers receiving prizes. A picnic lunch will be held afterwards.

A men's health fair will follow the race, featuring speakers including prostate cancer survivors.

The July Chamber Mixer will be hosted by Habitat for Humanity at the orfices on Academy Street in Georgetown. Come out and see what Habitat is all about while enjoying some great refreshments and networking. The mixer will be on Wednesday, July 17 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
