    Chimes Family of Services is an international multi-service agency delivering a wide range of programs, services and supports to more than 17,000 people of all ages and many levels of ability. Our Family of Services includes agencies in six states, the District of Columbia, and Israel. We assist people with developmental disabilities, mental illness and other specialized needs. All of our services and facilities in the Chimes Family of Services are state licensed and accredited. Chimes International is the support organization for Chimes Family of Services and provides executive management and business support services.

    Coastal Concerts is a volunteer organization, with just a paid part-time Exec. Director dedicated to bringing the finest classical music to audiences in Lewes by presenting renowned performers to the coastal communities in the fall, winter and spring months.

    Coastal Concerts is focusing on cultural enrichment during the less busy times of year. Residents and visitors alike are welcomed and encouraged to support Coastal Concerts and enjoy the fine music. Coastal Concerts has music education as one of its key goals.

    Coastal Concerts has established an annual scholarship for a student in music performance, education, or composition.

    Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. is a private, non-profit law firm dedicated to equal justice for all.Our Poverty Program helps low-income clients with Tenant's Rights, government benefits and domestic violence. Our Elder Law Program currently provides legal assistance such as Powers of Attorney and AHCD (formerly Living Wills) to Delawareans age 60 or older. Our Disabilities Law Program provides limited advocacy services to Delaware residents with physical or mental disabilities.

    Visit the Delaware Aviation Museum at Sussex County Airport. The museum features many WWII aviation artifacts, memorabilia and displays. Also home of the Jeffrey L. Ethell Memorial Aviation Library of over 3,000 aviation related books. The largest aviation library in the east. Several aircraft are also on display surrounding the museum.     Born in 1987, we exist to serve Delawareans through direct services and impact services.  Our direct services include helping clients resolve their issues with the IRS, lenders, and credit bureaus.  To ensure responsible consumers, we teach Money Matters! through seminars, radio and television. We also  work to assure that the response to the current foreclosure crisis is sound this time.  We do not want to create the moral hazard of irresponsible lending.

Kody's Kids works on a referral system from local hospitals, Dept of Health and other local agencies.  Kody's Baby Closet is located at Grace United Methodist Church Office Building, 7 South King Street, Room #1, Georgetown, Delaware.  Open 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month or by appointment.

  • NEMOURS HEALTH & PREVENTION SERVICES

    Nemours Health & Prevention Services (NHPS), an operating division of Nemours, is dedicated to working with others to help children lead healthier lives.  NHPS currently focuses on two priority areas:  preventing childhood obesity through healthy eating and physical activity and emotional and behavioral health.

    The percentage of young people who are overweight has more than tripled in the last 20 years. About 35% of children in the U.S. and 37% in Delaware are overweight or obese.

    We serve:Children ages 0-18 with behavior, medical and emotional problems in need of a nurturing family environment. Referrals taken from Division of Family Services and Child Mental Health. We offer: Free intensive training; 24-hour support; weekly home visits; respite care; in-service training and tax free stipend. Services offered are: Treatment Foster Care; Individualized Residential Treatment; Therapeutic Respite; and Outpatient Mental Health Services (Psychiatry/Therapy). Our community based services strengthen, preserve and keep families together, so that seriously troubled children can remain at home and in their schools.
