Peter Stone began writing the original story of Curtains, the musical comedy whodunit Curtains, which is being performed by the Possum Point Players, running for six performances, April 19 - 28, 2013. Stone was among that rarefied group of writers who conquered stage, screen, and television by winning an Oscar, a Tony, and an Emmy.

In 1965, he won an Oscar for his work as a screenwriter on Father Goose. He won Tony Awards for his books for the Broadway musicals Titanic, Woman of the Year and 1776.  He won an Emmy for a 1962 episode of The Defenders.

Bayhealth offers the Tobacco Cessation Program, a seven-week program that offers support and guidance to help you quit using all tobacco products.

The series offers strategies to improve your lifestyle through behavior modification, diet, stress reduction, exercise and nicotine replacement therapy. Participants do not quit using tobacco products until the fourth week of the program.

The next series of classes will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Bayhealth Milford Memorial's Rehab Conference Room, 21 W. Clarke Avenue in Milford on April 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21 and 28.

To mark National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March, Bayhealth will offer free colorectal cancer screenings on the following dates, times and locations:

• Tuesday, March 26 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cancer Center, Milford Memorial
• Thursday, March 28 at 5:00 p.m. at Cancer Center, Kent General

Colon cancer is the third leading cause of death for men and women.  The American Cancer Society recommends all men and women be screened for colorectal cancer beginning at age 50.  Those at high risk for the disease, including African-Americans or those with a family history of colorectal cancer, should be screened at an earlier age.
