Delaware Hospice will hold a complimentary Professional Conference for nurses entitled "Facilitating Positive End-of-Life Experiences," on Tuesday, May 7^th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Duncan Center, 500 West Loockerman St., Dover, DE  19901.

The Conference is being offered in celebration of National Nurses Week, May 6-12^th, and its goal is to help prepare nurses to care for patients at the end-of-life.

While the Stockley Center continues to serve the needs of some Delaware residents with developmental disabilities, for more than a year, a diverse group of community members has been looking at potential uses of the center's state land and facilities to improve the health and well-being of Sussex County residents.

Mike Nally has recently volunteered to be the Project Coordinator for a Sussex County Habitat for Humanity home build that will directly benefit a local Veteran family in need. Mike is honored to be able to help those who have given so much for our country and it is my hope that you will join me in this project to guarantee its successful completion.
