The October Georgetown Chamber Economic Development Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 7 (always the first Wednesday every month) at the Georgetown Train Station, 140 Depot Street.  This meeting is open to all who wish to attend and lunch is provided.

The October Chamber Luncheon has been re-scheduled from its usual fourth Wednesday of the month to Thursday, October 29 to accommodate the Sussex County Today and Tomorrow Conference.  Lunch will be at Noon at CHEER on Sand Hill Road. Special guest speaker will be newly elected 37th District Representative & Executive Vice President of SCAOR, Ruth Briggs King.

We are pleased to announce that the Honorable Jack Markell, Governor of the State of Delaware, will be guest speaker at the August Chamber Luncheon and will give updates on the budget and the economy as well as answer and any all questions that guests may have and time allows.

The luncheon is scheduled for Wed., August 26 from Noon to 1 p.m. at the CHEER Center on Sand Hill Rd. and is open to the public, but reservations are requested. The cost is $10.00.

The August Chamber Mixer will be hosted by Comfort Inn & Suites in Georgetown, located at 20530 DuPont Boulevard on Wednesday, August 19 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.  Join us for some great networking and refreshments.
