The State Chamber was instrumental driving down workers compensation costs through reform. Expert attorney Barry Heckler of Heckler & Frabizzio helped author the new statute while serving on the Workers Compensation Advisory council. Heckler will present the latest information on how to find savings and avoid penalty fines.

The Chamber will hold a Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, September 23 at 11:30 a.m. to celebrate a new menu and new website with a grand opening at the Georgia House Cafe at Cheer. This will be held just prior to the Chamber Luncheon so come for the Ribbon Cutting and stay for lunch.
The October Chamber Mixer will be hosted by Lighthouse Landing Restaurant, 21553 Rudder Lane at the Sussex County Airport in Georgetown. The mixer will be on Wednesday, October 21 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend, no RSVP required. This will be a cash bar.
The next Wings & Wheels planning meeting will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 3 p.m. at the Sussex County Airport. All are welcome to attend.
The October Chamber Informational Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:30 a.m. at Tavern on the Circle at the Brick Hotel. The guest speaker will be Gary Morris of the 90 year old American Legion Post No. 8.
